What on earth do you mean? A spectrum of what? If you mean there's a spectrum of phenotypes, well, yes. No surprise. But only two sexes. Which need each other to reproduce. They're as locked around each other as the Earth and Moon, or Earth and Sun.

Nonsense. How people choose to define themselves in our societies isn't going to play any part in evolution *unless* it affects how many offspring they have. If it leads to them having more, they'll thrive. If fewer, they'll fall in number.
